Ultrasound at 31 weeks and Heartbeat
On Friday, May 28, 2004 we drove down to Waldorf, MD again to have another Ultrasound of the baby. This time Fern’s parents were able to join us. It is amazing to see how much the baby has grown. She is now over 3 lbs. Fern has posted many of the pictures we got in our gallery here.
Heartbeat
When Fern was pregnant with Ellie, we purchased on of the monitors that is supposed to let you hear your babies heartbeat. We tried and tried with Ellie, but we were never able to hear anything. But when Fern tried with the new baby she was able hear (and record) almost 20 minutes of heartbeats. I’ve digitized about 2 minutes worth in MP3 format. I think our girl is beautiful! When I tell people she looks like her big sis, they laugh at me. It’s OK. They haven’t been able to see it for themselves. Such a miracle. I am so excited about getting to hold her. She is such a doll!
