Last night we ordered a Canon PowerShot S60 digital camera. It arrived today. I’ve charged the battery and played with it for few minutes, but I had to put it back in the box so that I could get some realy work done. I think that we’re going to like it, but it will take [...]
After months of discussing, and reading, and sharing, and disagreeing we’ve finally decided on a name for the baby! If you really want know, just ask and we’ll tell you.
This weekend we watched our neighbor’s two daughters (ages 8 and 4). They came over at about 10 AM yesterday and their parents picked them up today at about 1 PM. What an experience. For the most part the girls were really good. Ellie had some sharing issues and the other girls did get somewhat [...]
This past Friday, Fern was surpised with a baby shower by our neighborhood friends. She thought that she was going for a craft night and had no idea that it was a baby shower. This past week was so crazy that she almost decided that she didn’t want to go, but some careful prodding convinced [...]
Yeti Sports has released another new game. Flamingo Drive is the fifth in a series of flash games. A fun way to pass a couple of minutes when you need a break. So far my best score is 3265 meters, with a single first flight max of 1367 meters. I got a few good tips [...]
I’ve had problems today with MTBookQueue. It works fine on my main index page, but when I try to rebuild my custom Complete Book List page I get errors. I think there is a problem with the XML data coming from Amazon. I thought I had it fixed at one point, but it’s not working [...]
Groupwise to Exchange Migration Problems (Calendar Items)
0 Comments Published by kbn 4 years ago in TechieIf you’ve been following my saga of migrating our GroupWise system to Microsoft Exchange 2003, then you’ll remember that we had problems when importing some Reminder Items. Well since we’ve begun to acutely migrate real users, we’ve found that we have problems with Calendar Items as well.
So now we have to perform a test migration [...]
David Charles was born to Sharon and Ray (Fern’s sister and brother-in-law) today at 3:43AM. He as 19 inches and 7lbs 11oz. All are doing well. Happy Birthday David Charles and congrats on #2 to Sharon and Ray.
Our parent’s bible study has decided to split in to mens and womens groups for part of the summer. This past Monday the dads met at Jillians, a resturant/arcade, for dinner, talk, drink and play. We had a great time. We talked about our kids, seperatation of church and state, homosexuality, and a bunch of [...]
Tonight Fern and I go to our Birthing Refresher course. It is only 3 hours long (I think) so I’m sure that they won’t cover that much. We also go for a hospital tour in 2 weeks. It’s hard to believe that we’re only six weeks away from the big day.
We have finally started our GroupWise to Exchange migration in earnest this week. We completed our user documentation, as well as a migration checklist (I will post the list in a couple of days), and have migrated our first set of “real” users. We will do about 35 users next week, and then jump up [...]
2 wheel bike + 2 training wheels = 1st time on “big girl” bike for Ellie. Last night Ellie rode a real bicycle for the first time. She did great! It was a friend’s bike. I guess that means that we’ll need to consider getting one soon. I just wish that we had room.
On Thursday I went rollerblading after work. I think it was only the third or fourth time that I had been. I’m pretty good at going forward, but I still can’t stop very well. After a number of times around the block (by myself and with some of the neighborhood kids) I was getting tired [...]
Sorry, I haven’t posted much in the last few days. I’ve just been really busy at work and at home (plus I’ve been reading a couple of books). Hopefully in the next couple of days I can post some. Some of the topics will be a May recap of the site, our progress on our [...]
